Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the opinions of administrators and teachers in schools providing mobile education about the difficulties experienced by students, and to suggest solutions through analyzes and comments made in line with the findings. The research consists of administrators and teachers in schools providing bussed education in Foça and Kınık districts of İzmir province in the 2020-2021 academic year. According to the findings of the research, the difficulties experienced by the students and administrators and teachers working in schools providing mobile education emerged at three levels. As medium difficulty; It has been determined that parents experience difficulties such as lack of communication with the school and teachers due to the distance, the shuttles having many infrastructural deficiencies such as heating, security and comfort, not being able to go to their homes in case of emergency, the bus drivers not complying with the departure times, and picking up the students from their residences sometimes early and sometimes late. As high level challenges; Schools are located very far from home, some families do not send their daughters, especially their daughters, to school due to the distance, passengers other than students are put on the shuttles, and especially lower class students who come by transportation have problems related to their inability to meet their physical needs (such as not being able to eat their meals on their own, not being fully toilet trained). It has been determined that they lived. Providing training to the drivers who undertake the transportation work, providing better equipped transportation training, etc. suggestions were made.
