Sürdürülebilir Liderlik Özellikleri İle Kurum Personelinin Örgütsel Bağlılık Ve İş Doyumları Arasındaki Uyuma İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the compatibility between sustainable leadership characteristics and organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the institution's personnel through teachers' views. The research was conducted using a qualitative research design. The qualitative research design was used to deeply understand the experiences, opinions and perceptions of the participants. The participants of the research consist of teachers working at different levels. A semi-structured interview form was used as the data collection tool. The collected data was analyzed using the content analysis method. Content analysis includes the stages of separating the data into thematic codes, converting these codes into categories and interpreting the findings. The participants stated that sustainable leadership characteristics are exhibited by innovative, visionary, employee-supporting and environmentally sensitive leaders in educational institutions. It was emphasized that these leadership characteristics positively affect teachers' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Teachers stated that they feel more committed in institutions where sustainable leadership characteristics are exhibited. In particular, the importance given to employee development by leaders and the adoption of a participatory management approach are among the factors that increase organizational commitment. The participants stated that sustainable leadership characteristics increase job satisfaction. Teachers stated that they are more motivated and more satisfied with their jobs in environments where there are supportive and understanding leaders.
